Doh!

I thought you were announcing new slot bikes.

That is a nice looking bike though. I'm going to need to re-paint a car with bright orange rims. They look sweet.

Danni,

The MotoGP motorcycles for SCX Compact go into production in about 4 weeks. We should see them in most countries by the end of July.

Marquez took pole position at LeMans.
Red Bull KTM rider Marc Márquez (far right in photo below) set pole at Le Mans right at the end of the 125cc qualifying session and the 16 year-old will look to follow it up with his second podium in two races having placed third at Jerez two weeks ago.

Behind the young Spaniard on the Grand Prix de France grid will be another 16 year-old, Scott Redding (Blusens Aprilia), who also registered his best time, 1'47.173, just 0.093s behind Márquez, in the final seconds of the qualifying practice as the track dried – following morning rain.

Marquez waits for the start of the race at LeMans.

1 Julian SIMON SPA Bancaja Aspar Team 125cc 55 2 Bradley SMITH GBR Bancaja Aspar Team 125cc 49.5 3 Andrea IANNONE ITA Ongetta Team I.S.P.A. 46.5 4 Sergio GADEA SPA Bancaja Aspar Team 125cc 38 5 Jonas FOLGER GER Ongetta Team I.S.P.A. 33 6 Sandro CORTESE GER Ajo Interwetten 32 7 Pol ESPARGARO SPA Derbi Racing Team 31.5 8 Marc MARQUEZ SPA Red Bull KTM Moto Sport 27 9 Dominique AEGERTER SWI Ajo Interwetten 26.5 10 Efren VAZQUEZ SPA Derbi Racing Team 19

Sunday's 125cc race at Le Mans was a remarkable spectacle on the wet French track, with 32 crashes for the single cylinder class riders. That figure is a record for the highest amount of crashes in a single race or session, the previous record being 28 crashes in the 2002 125cc race in Portugal.

It is a testament to the current safety standards in the World Championship that only one rider was injured, American youngster Cameron Beaubier unfortunately suffering a left wrist fracture.

Several competitors picked their bikes up to earn World Championship points after their crashes including Swiss rider Dominique Aegerter and Italian Andrea Iannone, who finished sixth and seventh respectively.

Randy Krummenacher, meanwhile, hit the deck on three separate occasions but still earned a single point as the last classified rider in 15th place.

However, the conditions put paid to the endeavours of 18 riders in total, with more than half the field unable to complete the race – including big names such as Simone Corsi, Danny Webb, Scott Redding, Marc Márquez, Joan Olivé and Stefan Bradl.

It is safe to say that the 125cc riders will be hoping for a dry race at Mugello next time out on 31st May.

Hey everybody, I suppose I need to mention this somewhere else, but the SCX Compact MotoGP motorcycle set is produced and leaving China late next week for the US market. The countries in Europe should have theirs within 2-3 weeks from today.

SCX® continues its commitment to the motor sport competition renewing its sponsorship with Marc Márquez, the youngest rider on the 125 cc starting grid competing with the Repsol KTM team.

SCX General Manager Seri Pastor and the two major shareholders, J.M. Arnau and L.M. Arnau, visited the paddock at the Gran Prix Cinzano at the Circuit de Cataluna in Montmelo, Spain to congratulate Marquez on his continued success in MotoGP. In this race the young Catalan driver, who started 12th on the grid, finished with a strong fifth place finish.

Motorbikes have finally come to SCX ® last year with the SCX COMPACT Moto GP set, a toy which has revolutionised the slot world by bringing two wheels onto traditional SCX ® circuit.
